Elderly men and women practice slow, flowing movements in a park, their hands moving like waves. I join in, following their lead, feeling my breath slow and my body relax. The park is alive with other activities—people flying kites, playing chess, practicing calligraphy. This tai chi isn’t just exercise—it’s harmony, where mind and body work together in a tradition thousands of years old.​
